Dr. Jeha Kim

Dr. Jeha Kim is a Professor at the department of Solar and Energy Engineering at the Cheongju University where he also has a secondary appointment as a Professor of Laser and Optical Information Engineering. Hereceived the B.S. and M.S. degrees from Sogang University, Seoul, S. Korea, in 1982 and 1985, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Arizona, Tucson, USA in 1993, all in physics.
From 1993 to 2012, he worked atthe Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Daejeon, Korea where he supervised the R&D program of thin film photovoltaic materials and device technologies of CuInGaSe2(CIGS), amorphous-Si/SiGe, dye sensitized solar cell (DSSC). His current research interest is in thin film growth and characterization of compound semiconductors of CIGS,Cu2ZnSn(SSe)4 (CZTS), SnSetc. and theirapplication to solar cell as well as device evaluation.
He has published more than 140 technical papers in prestigious journals and conferences, and holds 8 US patents in the field of optoelectronics.Hehad served in the Technical Program Committee for IEEE MWP 2004-2006, AP-MWP 2006-2007, CLEO-PR 1999 conferences, was a General Co-Chair and TPC Co-Chair of IEEE MWP 2005, Seoul, Korea. He is a board member of the Korean Photovoltaics Society and the Korea Vacuum Society, a senior member of the Optical Society of Korea (OSK), the Korean Institute of Information Sciences (KICS) and the IEEE Photonics Society.
